Proposals sought for employment, training

The workforce development board of the Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments is now accepting proposals for providing employment and training services.

These services would be available within the following counties: Caswell, Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance and Warren. The Workforce Investment Act-JobLink Career System would provide these services from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014.

Potential parties should attend a bidders conference at the City of Oxford Public Works Building, 227 W. McClanahan St., Oxford, on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

The deadline to submit proposals is April 10 at noon.
