Convention meeting set for March 5

The Vance County Republican Party has scheduled its annual pre-State Republican Party Convention meeting for March 5 at 6:30 p.m. It will take place in the Commissioners Room on the second floor (accessible through the Young Street entrance) of the Old Vance County Courthouse.

The agenda will be as follows:

• precinct preliminary meeting

• nomination/election of county GOP officials

• nomination/election of district and state convention delegates and alternates

• confirmation of State GOP Convention credentials.

As this is a very important meeting, party members are strongly urged to participate.
