Bullying hotline now active

Parents and students are now advised that a hotline has been established by Vance County Schools for the purpose of reporting bullying.

Incidences involving bullying at any of the public schools within the county can by phoned in by calling (252) 431-3682. Those giving a report should give their name and the location in which the incident occurred. Investigations will commence within 12 hours of the occurrence.

By searching vcs.k12.nc.us, the school system’s website hompage, students and parents alike can find basic information about the hotline and how to make a report

Simply look under “News & Announcements,” which can be accessed by clicking under the headling “New VCS Bullying Hotline.
