The Granville Little Theatre will present the classic drama, “Our Town,” by Thornton Wilder, from today-Sunday in the auditorium at Oxford City Hall, 300 Williamsboro St.

Teenagers from Vance and Granville counties make up the cast. Gary Owen, theater president, will direct the play, assisted by Sonja Holloway. It is being produced by Whitney Wicker.

The plot centers around the Webb and Gibbs families, who dwell in adjacent houses in the small, quintessential American town of Grover’s Corner, N.H., during the early 20th century. In addition to moving back and forth between families, action fluctuates between past and present — and even between the living and the dead.

Performances will run today-Saturday, starting at 7:30 p.m. Sunday’s showing will begin at 2:30 p.m. Seating is general admission. Tickets ($10 - adults; $8 - seniors 65+ and students; $5 - children under 6) are available at the door beginning 45 minutes prior to the start of the show.
