Sarah Mingloski and Jordan Wilkerson wed
Sarah Marriott Mingloski and Jordan Thomas Wilkerson of Greenville were united in marriage Oct. 13, 2012, at 5 p.m. at Rock Springs Center in Greenville. Pastor Gary Harper of Henderson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Keith Mingloksi of Chester, Va. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marriott of Battleboro and The late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Mingloski of Colonial Heights, Va. She is a graduate of East Carolina School of Nursing and is currently a registered nurse at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ranger Wilkerson. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Harris Sr. of Henderson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hartwell S. Wilkerson of Henderson. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. He is currently a probation/parole officer with the N.C. Department of Public Safety in Greenville.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her mother and father. She wore an ivory colored romantic A-line silhouette gown featuring asymmetrical soft pick-up details that swept across the waist, hugging the hips and gently released through the rounded train. The sweetheart strapless neckline was adorned with a touch of sparkling crystals on the top left side. A stunning crystal embellishment belt accented the natural waist with a lace-up back closure. Her headpiece was a fingertip veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses, purple linanthus, white hydrangeas and accented with peacock feathers throughout.
The maid of honor was Melissa Gayle Mingloski, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Katherine Lambert, Mary Edwards, Jasmine Dhir, Brittney Blowe and Morgan Allen, all friends of the bride.
The best man was Justin Ranger Wilkerson, twin brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Brandon Lollis, Elliott Bass, Daniel Faulkner, Jonathan White, all friends of the groom and Reece Wilkerson, nephew of the groom.
Caroline Porter, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. Peyton Furr, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer. The scripture reader was Jean Sparrow, aunt of the groom.
A program of wedding music was performed by Alyssa Hall, harpist.
Songs played include: prelude music — “Be Thou My Vision,” “Morning Has Broken,” “Ode to Joy” and “Abide With Me”; Sand Ceremony — “O Perfect Love”; and the Recessional — “Trumpet Voluntary.”
Allison Mingloski, Lori Mingloski and Anna Mingloski, all cousins of the bride, served as program attendants.
Following the ceremony, the reception was hosted by Keith and Pam Mingloski, parents of the bride, at Rock Springs Center.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple now resides in Greenville.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by Ranger and Sandra Wilkerson, parents of the groom, at the Holiday Inn Express in Greenville.
