Teen Outreach Program students at Henderson Middle School collected can foods and non-perishable food items for the needy this holiday season. Participants also worked at motivating their teachers and peers to donate to their food drive project.

A total of 965 canned food and non-perishable food items were collected. They were then donated to organizations to help them feed needy individuals and families through weekly soup kitchen, food pantry operations, youth summer feeding and backpack programs.

The program counts 110 participants in grades 6-8. Infinite Possibilities, Inc., sponsors the program.

An important goal of the program is to instill in students a sense of purpose through community service learning.
