Vance-Granville Community College: Manicuring certificate offered at Warren campus
This fall, Vance-Granville Community College is offering the opportunity to earn a complete curriculum certificate in Manicuring/Nail Technology in one semester. The program will be available exclusively at the Warren Campus in Warrenton.
The course is taught in a simulated salon environment and students will learn about topics including manicures, pedicures, massages, decorating, and artificial application.
During the semester students will attend two courses: Manicure/Nail Technology I weekday mornings from Aug. 19 through Oct. 17 and Manicure/Nail Technology II weekday mornings from Oct. 18 through Dec. 16.
Once the semester is completed, students will receive a certificate and be prepared to take the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners nail technician/manicurist exam.
New students can apply for admission online or on any Vance-Granville Community College campus. Orientation and advising of new students will take place throughout the summer. Registration for fall classes is open through Aug. 14. For more information, contact Tomeka Moss at (252) 738-3357.
