125 current, retired educators treated to morning meal

The annual Honor An Educator Breakfast, presented by the Vance County Public School Foundation was held Friday, June 7, with Duke Energy Progress as the sponsoring organization. The event was held in the school system’s Administrative Services Center and had approximately 125 current and retired educators in attendance after donations were made in their honor by current or former students, colleagues, friends and family members. (Below, from left) Among those in attendance for this event were: Wayne Adcock, retired superintendent; Dr. Bev Tucker, president of the Vance County Public School Foundation; Odell Clanton, former Exceptional Children’s director; Vivian Bullock, Information and Learning Technology coordinator; and George Fowler, a retired principal and current Vance County Public School Foundation executive director.
