(From left) Bill Terry, the Men’s Ministry director at International Pentecostal Holiness Church, and David Moore, National Royal Ranger commander of the church, were in attendance during regular services at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church on Jan. 20 to present Ray Liles, a member of South Henderson, the award for the National Royal Rangers Commander of the Year. Sandra Liles, Ray’s wife, and Pastor Frank Sossamon of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church were also on hand for this event. Liles was also given the award for the Conference Royal Ranger Commander of the Year during services the previous week by Joel Boyles, Cornerstone Conference Discipleship Ministries director. Four awards are given out for the conference each year: this time, members of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church received three of them. The other two went to Chuck Ramsey (Sunday School Teacher of the Year) and Tammy Campbell (Children’s Worker of the Year).
