Annual bluegrass festival coming to venue in Roxboro
The Willow Oak Bluegrass Festival will take place this year at Willow Oak Music Park from April 25-27. The outdoor amphitheater is located at 965 Blaylock Dairy Road in Roxboro.
This year’s lineup includes: Melvin Goins & Windy Mountain, Lou Reid & Carolina, Little Roy and Lizzy Show, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, Bluegrass Brothers, Michelle Nixon & Drive, AI Batten & Bluegrass Reunion, Jr. Sisk & Ramblers Choice, James King Band, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Bass Mountain Boys Reunion Show, Malpass Brothers, Mark Newton & Steve Thomas, and Drive Tyme.
Ticket prices vary, depending on which day one will attend: Thursday — $25/person; Friday — $30/person; or Saturday — $30/person. Advance 3-day tickets are available until Monday for $75/person.
