On June 1, Dylan Newton of Boy Scout Troop 555 in Louisburg completed his Eagle Scout Project. He and his family, as well as the other scouts, built two picnic tables, which were then donated to the Epsom Fire Department. They also planted four azaleas by the flag pole, distributed new mulch and placed a fireman’s prayer slab at the station. Wearing their uniforms, firemen from the station came out to support Newton’s project. Those in attendance for this event were: (from left, standing, all firemen unless otherwise indicated), Randy Kearney, Cody Ayscue, Dale Kuntz, Nathan Owens, Jeremy Paul, Steve Hoyle, Kevin Wilson (scout), Billy Ayscue, Newton (scout, holding the plaque), Russell Fuller, Robbie Hudson, Daniel Fuller, Wyatt Hudson, Adrian Tharrington, Cory Galebach, Chris Milton; and scouts (from left) Thomas Cottrell, James Medlin, Sean Wilson and Patrick Medlin.
