‘Indoor Fly-in’ set for Feb. 22

The 95th Squadron Radio Control Model Airplane Club is holding its fourth annual Indoor Fly-in from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 22 at Lake Gaston Baptist Church.

The event will feature indoor flight demonstrations of radio controlled model airplanes and helicopters.

Several simulators will be available for spectators to try their hand at flying.

The first 20 children to attend will receive a free rubber-band-powered model plane and have the opportunity to compete in several contests using the plane.

A free lunch with pizza and soda will be served at noon.

A large array of radio controlled models will remain on static display throughout the event.

Admission is free for spectators.
