The Henderson Community Concert Association will present a performance by the N.C. Symphony, led by resident conductor William Henry Curry, at 8 p.m. on Feb. 1 at the Vance-Granville Community College Civic Center.

The concert is only open to HCCA season ticket holders.

The performance will include Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5”; Gluck’s “Dance of the Blessed Spirits” and “Dance of the Furies” from the opera "Orfeo ed Euridice"; and Haydn’s “Sinfonia Concertante in B-flat Major” for the violin, cello, oboe and bassoon.

The symphony is also scheduled to provide an educational program for area elementary students.

Two additional performances will be offered during the HCCA’s 2013-14 concert season. The comedy duo AudioBody will give a performance on March 21 and the New York Theatre Ballet, featuring “Cinderella,” will perform on April 13.
