Henderson pharmacist featured as Scrooge in Lakeland production of ‘A Christmas Carol’

Woody King, Warrenton mayor pro tempore and local Food Lion pharmacist (in Henderson), will play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in Lakeland Theater’s production of Bill O’Neill’s adaptation of “A Christmas Carol.”
Regular showings are scheduled for today, Saturday, and Dec. 14, 21 and 22: these performances will begin at 8 p.m. There will be two matinee performances at 2:30 p.m.: one for the public on Dec. 16 and a second for students of Vance Charter School on Thursday. Doors open 45 minutes before show time for all showings.
Dinner is available at 6:30 p.m. for certain nightly performances. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Groups of 25 or more attending performances other than opening night may request dinner before or after the show if the request is made at least two weeks in advance. Prices will vary depending on the caterer.
Reservations are not required but recommended for Lakeland performances. In addition, reservations are suggested and should be made 48 hours in advance for anyone who wants premium seating. The front five rows of the center section are reserved for members until 48 hours before each showing.
