Stewardship training available next week at United Shiloh

The United Shiloh Missionary Baptist Association annual Stewardship Training Institute will convene Monday-Friday, at 7 p.m. nightly, at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2464 Rock Mill Road, Henderson, pastored by the Rev. Melvin Solomon.

Adult classes include: “The Message Behind the Music,” “Ministers: Associates in Ministry,” “Pastors Helping Pastors” and “The 21st Century Church.” Youth classes will be centered around “The Body: A Consecrated Temple.”

The sermonette Monday-Thursday will be delivered by the revs. Thelma McClean, Pearline Cooper, Gregory Hardy and Jimmie Hayes respectively. The Friday night sermon will be delivered by guest preacher, the Rev. Dr. Nilous M. Avery II, pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Salisbury, and vice president of General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. The week’s services will conclude with the observing of Holy Communion.
