Elizabeth Hehl and Thomas Williams Jr. exchange vows
Elizabeth Jameson Hehl and Thomas Williams Jr. were united in marriage April 27, 2013, at 4:30 p.m., on the lawn at 210 N. Bragg St. in Warrenton. The Rev. J. Wayne Pratt officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Karl and Mary Hehl of Warrenton. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Deaver of Lexington, Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Karl F. Hehl Sr. of Lynchburg, Va. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s School and North Carolina State University, both in Raleigh. She is presently employed as operations manager at Arcola Logging.
The groom is the son of Cindy and Dale Jones of Wise. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Parr of Norlina. He is a graduate of Warren County High School and attended Vance-Granville Community College. He is currently employed as a driller with S&ME.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family. She wore an all-over beaded lace trumpet gown with an empire waist, cap sleeves and an ivory-champagne chapel train. Her headpiece was first worn by her great-great-grandmother in 1877 when she was married in England.
The maid of honor was Emily Morgan, a friend of the bride. The best man was Adam Lynch, a friend of the groom.
Karl Hehl III and Steven Harris, brothers of the bride, and Josh Jones, brother of the groom, served as ushers in the ceremony.
Jayden and Cayden Bobbitt, friends of the bride and groom, served as ring bearers.
The wedding directors were Mrs. Betty Morgan and Mrs. Allison Harris.
After the ceremony, the reception was hosted by the parents of the bride, on the lawn at 210 N. Bragg St.
Following their honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in Warrenton.
• The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the mother of the groom at Warrenton Golf Club.
• On April 14, a holiday shower was hosted by Cindy Mustian, Meredith Kelly and Stacy Ricks.
• An engagement party was hosted by friends and family of the bride and groom at the home of Todd and Claudia Wemyss.
• A bridal shower was hosted by Emily Morgan and her family on March 3 at their home.
