Northern Vance students win ribbons at fair

Above: Northern Vance High School students in Julie Sokol’s first period culinary arts class recently won ribbons for food items they prepared at the Vance County Regional Fair. The students are Tashaunna Blackwell, Lilyana Granados, Lamont Hatcher, Brittany Howard, Jacquelynn Jackson, Jeffrey Jones, Brandon Lopez-Hernandez, Chaquella Mason, Shawn Miles, Dominique Minor, Kaela Mitchell, Brianna Nelson, Destiny Overby, Hakeem Person, Olivia Scott, Ja’Quashia Steed, Brianna Trowbridge, Tashiyana Turner and Kourtney Wilkerson.

Middle:Northern Vance High School students in Julie Sokol’s second period culinary arts class recently won ribbons for food items they prepared at the Vance County Regional Fair. The students are Amber Alexander, Marino Correa, Chattia Evans, Susana Garcia-Arias, Jazmen Hawkins (Best of Show), Meshauna Hicks, Conniqua Martin, Shakayla McKoy, Malerie Moore, Shaquita Perry, River Renn, Jasmine Small, Jade Thompson, Datwon Watts and Jasmine Wilkins. Students who won ribbons but are not pictured include Ahmed Ali, Terri Elam and Kaydi Roberson.
