Julianne Cutts and Thomas Webb Jr. united in marriage
Julianne Taylor Cutts and Thomas Frederick Webb Jr. were married on Feb. 8, 2014, at six o’clock in the evening at Saint Mary’s School Chapel in Raleigh. Rev. Ronald Steven Cava officiated. Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a reception at Carolina Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Minor Cutts III of Henderson. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charlotte Annette Swanson of Raleigh, Dr. Catherine Cameron Church of Pinehurst and the late Mr. Sidney Minor Cutts Jr. of Oxford.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Frederick Webb of Greenville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Lonnie Edward Farless and the late Mr. Farless of Merry Hill and Mrs. James Fred Webb and the late Mr. Webb of Greenville.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Miss Lelia Bryles Cutts of Henderson, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Hannah Kathryn Wester, Miss Ellen Jean Ledbetter and Miss Lauren Anne Fleming of Raleigh; Miss Alexis Nicole Kennedy of Winston-Salem; and Miss Mary Hannah Statham of Charlotte. Miss Laura Farless Wells of Wilmington, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl.
Dr. Thomas Frederick Webb served as his son’s best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Sidney Minor Cutts IV of Winston-Salem, brother of the bride; Mr. Elliott Burton Farless of Merry Hill, cousin of the groom; and Mr. Christopher Donovan Andrews, Mr. Ryan Stephen Thompson and Mr. Andrew Brooks Williams of Raleigh. Master Jack Thomas Hogan of Raleigh, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.
Mr. Lonnie Wood Farless of Merry Hill, uncle of the groom, served as the reader.
The bride is a graduate of Kerr-Vance Academy in Henderson. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was presented by the Terpsichorean Club of Raleigh at the 2008 N.C. Debutante Ball. She now works in sales.
The groom is a graduate of Woodberry Forest School in Virginia. He attended North Carolina State University. He now works as a superintendent for Corbitt Hills Construction.
After a wedding trip to Anguilla, British West Indies, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
