Phillips presented at debutante ball
Anna Kathryn Phillips was presented at the 36th annual Greensboro Symphony Guild Presentation Ball on Dec. 28, 2013.
The ball was held in the Imperial Ballroom of the Sheraton Hotel in the Koury Convention Center.
The ball honors young women and their families from the Piedmont Triad who have made significant contributions to the community.
The event included a mother-daughter luncheon, a holiday tea and a father-daughter waltz night.
Phillips’ family gave her a brunch on the morning of the ball.
The debutantes were also honored by the Greesboro Symphony at “A Night at the Symphony” on Oct. 5.
Phillips’ father served as her marshal for the event. Her assistant marshal was Newell Smith Price III of Chapel Hill.
Phillips is a 2012 graduate of Walter Hines Page High School and is a sophomore attending East Carolina University, majoring in communications and public relations.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bryan Phillips of Greensboro and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Thomas Hannon III of Henderson.
