Kiwanis Club — The Henderson Kiwanis Club meets at 6:30 p.m. at Golden Corral Restaurant in Henderson; Mark Pace will present a program on the history of the Revolutionary War in Vance and surrounding counties; open to all members and their guests.

Board of Elections — The Vance County Board of Elections meets at 4 p.m. in the Board of Elections office in the Henry A. Dennis Building, 300 South Garnett Street.

Chamber of Commerce — The Granville County Chamber of Commerce annual banquet begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Vance-Granville Community College Civic Center; tickets are $35 each and include a buffet dinner.

NAACP — The Vance County NAACP regular monthly meeting is at 7 p.m. at the Gateway Community Center on Garnett Street; a youth session will meet from 6 to 6:45 p.m.
