Alive After Five — 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Creedmoor; Carolina Breakers perform; second concert of Granville County Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 Alive After Five series will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Park and Recreations — The Henderson-Vance Park and Recreations Commission meets at noon, Aycock Recreation Center.

Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center — 6 p.m. ice cream social and open house tour of new therapy gym.
